"Heartbroken to see brexley and Warwick’s adventure over but can not wait to read more from Stacey . She completely rocked it with this series . I will never be completely over these books . I constantly recommend then to anyone who enjoys dark fantasy. The way she captures pain and true raw emotion in her character just breaks my heart in the best way ! And I’m this final book to my favorite series she did not disappoint me . The build up to the final battle was brutal because I felt myself falling even more inlove with the characters and became terrified that they weren’t all going to make it out. But stacey truly wrote the ending to this series well . Not exactly what I thought was going to happen (which just kept me more on my toes in the best way ) The final battle was awesome ! I do wish it was drawn out a little longer (mostly because I just didn’t want this book/series to end ) but in my opinion it was very well thought out and orchestrated. I can not wait to see what Stacey does next and hope to see some of these characters in the future. ["

"I love SMB’s fae world. I was so invested in this series (and prequels). Felt a bit sad that this series was ending, but also seemed like a good end point. I LOVED the side characters in this series, was so happy we got more of their stories and POVs! LOVED Scorpion. I felt so much for these characters, and it was an emotional rollercoaster. Was not the biggest fan of Caleb turning into a mini Warwick, kind of wanted him to be his own, but that is just IMO. The found family trope was on point, but there are so many other tropes! It as it all. The pacing on this book was good, there was A LOT going on. Felt a little like trying to fit 4 books in one. Wouldn’t have minded instead a couple single POV books from “side” characters (done in West style). The spice was kicked up a notch - totally here for that. Would have loved a bit more character driven parts but there was just so much happening plot wise. Really excited Stacey left some open part This was an amazing series, it hooked me, I recommend it everyone. So good. ["

"This line perfectly sums up this series and our loves, Brexley and Warwick. Im not even sure where to start. First, it was NOT long enough. I kept wondering how it was going to end when it didn't seem like we were close enough to the tipping point. The spice rating for this one was literally off the charts and I loved all of it. More than the spice, I loved getting so many POVs (all males too) and seeing so much character development. The ending was satisfying but leaves plenty of room for continuation. The only thing I didn't like was the amount of typos, both typing and grammar (I volunteer as arc reader, Stacey, and would love to help with future books). Overall, I'm devastated over the ones we lost (I was in tears reading their last words), ecstatic that so many got their HEA (an abundance of my favorite trope), and eager to see what stories come from both circumstances. "Ok I read the whole series before I wrote a review. Pros: World-building, I really enjoyed how the author used actual locations in the story. I would google them and it made the story all the more “real”. Plot: Interesting and unique take Characters: An abundance of secondary characters that become main characters because they’re just written that well. My favorite were Opie and Bitsy. Best comedic relief characters I’ve read in a long time. When you fall in love with a character that just says “Chirp” and sticks up their middle finger as their sole forms of communication, that is pure talent! Cons: the last book seems rushed because there were so many editing issues. Also, this story could’ve been a trilogy. I feel the author drew out the narrative not because the plot line needed it, but because it would create a cliffhanger leading into yet another book, which this last book does as well. You can always lead into another series without creating more useless & ridiculous obstacles in the plot. I thought the FMC was too naive, even after being in prison. Jason/Warwick-I really did not like his cheating after the main characters met and made a connection even though they didn’t understand it, esp. when all the action Brex received was just kissing. I wouldn’t have minded her and Killian getting hot and heavy a time or two just to even things out. And I definitely didn’t like that Warwick taunted her about it and she caved every time he touched her instead of her kicking his a$$ and all the women. Hates: that many of the good characters died and hardly any of the bad characters did. What happened to villains getting their comeuppance? I don’t like how the story feels unfinished, even taking into account it’s leading into another series. That the plot was the same throughout all the books. They go into hiding, they are found and someone good dies. Brex always gets caught-just annoying esp when she gets hints all the time when danger is near. Brex always depletes her magic and they still don’t win. The incomplete plots. What happened to the circus? Characters not fitting together. Killian and Rosie? Horrible pairing. I would’ve rather seen him and Warwicks sister together. I thought it would’ve been a captor/captive plot. Ash, Lukas, Kek. I’m still iffy about this three way love affair. Just didn’t mesh well for me. Scorpion & Hanna. No. Hanna became way too whiny, griping about Brex getting all the attention. Not good friend material. And she never apologized for her behavior, unless I skipped over that part. The nectar being afterbirth is just gross, no matter how you try to pretty it up. And finally, I skipped over a lot of narrative to read dialogue just to finish the series, bc again it could’ve been a trilogy. ["
