"The SECOND that I got this book in I dropped everything to read it. I have so many thoughts, first of all, how dare you? We pick up exactly where we left off in Bad Lands, and can I just say, I love when authors do this, let's get right into it. By chapter 2, CHAPTER 2!!! I was crying. The pains that these books put me through, it hurts so good. I have said it once, and I will say it again, there are NO boring parts in these books, this whole series is just *chefs kiss*. Warkwick, Brexley, Killian, Ash, Scorpion, Caden, the whole gang, have been through so much, please Miss Stacey, can they have a break!! I am crying for them. Also, I am starting an Istvan hate club, would anyone like to join?? I cannot wait for this man to die. And can I just say ***minor spoiler*** I did not trust Tracker for ONE second. I knew, KNEW, that he was a spy. Why was he asking so many questions, hmmmm?? C'mon Brexley!!! On another note, I think I speak for everyone when I say, the opium den 👀👀 thank you, my queen. I am so ready for book 6, and I know it's getting pushed back. I'm okay with that IF YOU DON'T HURT ME!!! My heart cannot take it. But also Warwick POV? Yes plz. I'm very excited to see what happens, I am a-okay with a longer book... you could write 800 pages and I would devour it. And there was less Opie and Bitzy with all the bouncing around from place to place; they're the usual levity that's needed in this story. (FYI, I’m not affiliated with the author and there are NO spoilers! 🙌🏻) OK ✅! So I decided to write an Emoji Review 😁😆😂😍🥰😘😫😎🥸🤩🥳🥵 for Books 4 & 5 combined because a plotline that begins in Book 4 continues into Book 5 (so it just made sense💡to me!) The FIRST 👆🏻and MOST important thing to say… is if you LOVED ❤️ Book 1 in Savage Lands, your gonna LOVE ❤️ these TWO books 📚 ! Ok, so let me tell you my experience with Book 4 👏🏻! When I finished Book 3 several months back, (here’s a SECRET 🤫… I DID START Book 4!) BUT 🤚🏻! I was receiving LOTS of feedback from Savage Lands FANS 📣 on FB that Book 3 was a good stopping point to wait for the FINAL book (Book 6) to come out in May 2022! So I BEGRUDGINGLY 😫 did NOT follow my OWN advice (to read books as they come out 🤦🏻‍♀️!) and I put a PIN 📌 in it to WAIT 🤚🏻 for May & the final book! AND LET ME TELL YOU 😲… if I would have just kept reading for a few pages more, there is NO WAY I would have been able to put a PIN 📌 in Book 4! The action🤺 kicks in… BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM 💥💥💥… super EARLY on & it is NON-STOP action all the way through the end of Book 5 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻!!! Alright so let’s get into it 🙌🏻! As I said earlier, if you like Book 1 … your gonna page turn through Books 4 & 5!! These two books are loaded with non-stop action 🤺 & plenty of BOOOOOOMS 💥 that this series is FAMOUS for 🥳! And the EMOTION 😫 that kicks in towards the end of Book 4 and into Book 5… not gonna LIE 🤥… there is some definite AGONY 😩 similar to Book 1! And your like…. OMG, SERIOSULY 😳! SERIOUSLY 😲! THIS HAPPENS AGAIN 😵!!! And not only does it (I have to be SUPER careful with spoilers here,) but it’s like AMPLIFIED by 100% 😲🥱😵! We think it couldn’t get WORSE than Book 1, right?!?! But NOPE 😆. It DOES 😅! SOMEHOW this author managed to make it FAR WORSE than Book 1 😱! (If you haven’t started this series… TRUST ME! Just do it ✅! Get to Chapter 8 in Book 1 and you will see what everyone is RAVING about! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻) OK! TWO ✌🏻things about Books 4 & 5 that I MUST mention! ANSWERS 📝! We get ANSWERS 👏🏻👏🏻! Basically almost all questions are ANSWERED 🥳! And then… yay WARWICK ❤️‍🔥! You go on son 👊🏻!! It was SO REFRESHING 🌬 to have a MMC do what this guy did 🙌🏻! "2.5 stars may be more accurate. I found this series enjoyable up until this book. It was rather hard to push through and finish. I felt the scenes were too repetitive. Instead of spending what little time was available to develop thoughtful, actionable ways to outsmart their enemy, the main characters kept behaving idiotically and spending their little time together having coitus, oblivious to the moves their enemy was making. Shockingly they kept ending up in horrible situations over and over and over and over. Somewhere around page 300, I started hoping Istvan would win out. I was also annoyed by Tracker. Maybe it was supposed to be blatantly obvious from his 1st appearance in the series that he would betray the group, but I was bored waiting for it happen. Other than book 5 the series has been enjoyable, hoping the enjoyment returns in book 6. ["
