Reclaimed: Shadow Beast Shifters, Book 2
Jaymin Eve
Number one in the entire Kindle Store. A new paranormal romance from Wall Street Journal and USA Today best seller Jaymin Eve. My father made a terrible mistake. One I’m left paying for. As a wolf shifter growing up in a strong pack, I should be living my best life. But after my father tried to kill our leader, I’m labelled an outcast, traitor, less than dirt. When I can't take pack life any longer, I run, but apparently they don't like losing their punching bag. Torin, the leader’s son, drags me back before my first shift...a shift that will reveal my true mate. I never could have predicted who mine would be, but the moment my wolf looks upon him, I’m filled with hope for a brighter future. After all, no one ever rejects their true mate, right? Wrong. Very wrong. When the wolves attack, my soul screams for vengeance, and somehow I touch the shadow world. Somehow I bring him to our lands. The Shadow Beast. Our shifter god. The devil himself. Turns out being rejected by my mate was only the beginning. *If you like sexy, dark paranormal romances, with humor, steam, action, a tough heroine, and an antihero, this is for you. Rejected is full-length (100,000 words), is book one in Shadow Beast Shifters series, and ends on a cliff-hanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations.
C.R.Not what I expected in a good way!
"I finished this book in about three hours. The novel focuses on Mera, an isolated shifter who was out casted with her alcoholic mother due the past sins of her father. She is often bullied and abused with dreams of finding her true mate and leaving the town of Torma behind. I was expecting the same old shifter rejection story trope but what I got was something that absorbed all my attention and not let me put it down. However, like life, rejection often puts a damper on that specific dream, and beckoning to the God of darkness for intimidation purposes doesn’t always work as Mera found out. The character development in this book was great. The snarky, carefree, & outgoing attitude of Mera the main character stood out to me and on more than one occasion made me laugh out loud. Combine that with the stoic, guarded, and arrogant attitude of Shadow combines to make a slow burn that you will never want to end. The story line is good as well, Mera, taken by Shadow Beast due to powers she cannot control is essentially being used to help further his goals. He wants her broken and obedient. She will not be broken by any man or demon. This story has a huge Beauty and the Beast feel to it and honestly a lot of twists turns that one would not expect. The descriptions of the different worlds were breath taking and so full of detail I could imagine being there. Definitely good for anyone who loves reading paranormal romances or fairytales. ["

Red DragonNot Your Typical Wolf-Shifter Story
"I was really burned out on rejected shifter wolf-mate stories. Very worn out plots, mostly smutty, in and out type books. But I found this one to be exceptionally great. Loved the Dark Wolf God aspect. Very rich writing style, well-fleshed & deep characters, well-built imagery, biting humor, action, twisted plot! Loved the librarian! Loved the verbal sword play! The first book was so impressive, I bought and read the all 4 books of Shadow and Mera. Next I'll get the Simone and Samantha stories! ["
