About this book

When wicked men first took the boy she loved, she was a child. Now, they’ve taken him again, but this time…she’s a queen. For weeks, Malin plotted and schemed with the kingdom’s cruelest crooks, the Nightrender and the Guild of Kryv, to infiltrate a wicked masquerade. They survived. They escaped. Most of them. To the underbelly of the kingdom, the Nightrender never made it out of his own scheme. To Malin, he’s only Kase, the man who owns her heart, and who is once again a prisoner of their enemies. Malin and the Kryv will stop at nothing until he’s free... even if it means claiming her birthright to a throne that brings death and war. But when they discover Kase has been locked in a cruel spell, Malin must find a way to steal his new twisted memories before he is lost to them for good. The only trouble is when Kase looks at Malin, all he sees is an enemy with a death sentence. Return to the vicious world of the Eastern Kingdom in Game of Hate and Lies, book five in The Broken Kingdoms series. Part Viking, part Cinderella, the battle continues with more schemes, romance, and epic adventure. It contains the spiciest scenes yet in this series, and as a member of the mom-of-a-teenager club, the author recommends those who are not yet old enough to vote to listen responsibly.

Game of Hate and Lies

"So darn good! Dark, thrilling, and so emotional. There were so many ups and downs with this one, I’m still reeling from everything. The story picks up where the last one left off. It was a whirlwind of twists and turns that kept me wondering what would happen next. I enjoyed every moment of it and I love Mal’s determination and devotion in this one! The found family and relationships in the story are some of the best I’ve ever read and I’m so excited to see what comes next especially with the ending! ["

It’s getting better

"Now, it finally getting to somethings. The story pace is faster (more dynamics), characters and main plot of the series finally comes together. World building is finally making sense. And now chemistry of FMC and MMC are finally ignite ⚡️. However, there are tragic scenes in this book I wasn’t emotionally feeling it (I don’t feel attached to any side characters that much and the scene were too brief to makes me feel anything) The main plot in this series is really good with so so much potential. And that’s probably why I keep reading the series even when i don’t feel any attached to any characters (which I’m trying so hard) As for spice, many said the series was spicy. Yes, there are many scenes but I could not feels the passion and tensions in it. I tried to count in my head I know there were multiple but I couldn’t remember. So… that’s said something ["
