It was fun to see them interact and the bonds between them develop and grow. It was also cool to see the sea fae a peek for The Ever Seas there! The story itself was a wickedly wild ride with lots of twists and turns and ups and downs! Not one to put down. Full of epic battles and emotional ups and downs there was hardly a moment to breathe! "I have been searching for a while for a good epic adventure series. One that creates worlds and characters that draw me in and captivates me. One that had an intriguing storyline and plot. THIS IS THAT SERIES! I stumbled across this author by simply searching. I am so glad I did! I love this series! What I love most is the uniqueness of how the author is extending this series. The first 3 books (1-3) are from one land and couple, and the next set of books (4-6) are from a continuation of some characters that were in books 1-3 but with their own storyline. However, books 4-6 blends their storyline with the storyline from books 1-3, and the next books 7-9 will be from a character that was in both storylines but will have his story told and then meshed with the other storylines. It’s like eventually all storylines will merge and finish out this series in one final epic book. I absolutely love this! If you are looking for an epic adventure, with great character development, storyline, and romance with a little steam (not a lot of steam, but enough that it sates that need without going overboard, although I wish it was a bit more steamy lol) then this is the series for you! If you liked Sarah J Maas and her A Court of Thorns and Roses series, then you will LOVE this. Two totally different stories and authors but both very similar in writing styles. Go grab this series and START IT NOW! I promise you will not be able to put it down so be prepared. ["
