Phantasma: A dark fantasy romance (Wicked Games Book 1)

by Krista Street
The time for hesitation has passed. With her magic fully awakened and her formidable mate, Norivun, by her side, the protagonist returns to the Solis continent to reclaim a future stolen by treachery. The capital is a viper’s nest of political maneuvering, where the cost of justice is measured in blood and the heavy weight of impossible choices.
As they navigate a landscape defined by ancestral grudges and lethal royal intrigue, the pair must dismantle a corrupt regime that refuses to fall quietly. The central tension rests on the volatile, high-stakes partnership between a heroine who refuses to bow and a prince whose ruthless reputation precedes him. Their bond, forged through past hostility and hardened by shared trauma, faces its ultimate test as they confront the enemies who seek to keep them from the throne.
In this final installment, the lines between ally and adversary blur, and the path to victory demands the sacrifice of everything they hold dear. As the struggle for supremacy reaches its zenith, the couple must decide if their love is strong enough to survive the brutal reality of their ascension. Only those worthy of the crown will emerge from the frost-bitten chaos of the Solis court.

"Prince Norivun of the Solis Fae had many powerful affinities (abilities) and should have been easily able to overthrow his evil father, but King Novakin used the torture of the Queen against his sons to keep them in line. For years the king appeared to be benevolent and kind and used his powerful son as a scapegoat for all his evils until Prince Norivun found his fated mate who had hidden powers and strength of spirit equal to his own. This was the exciting conclusion to the series and I wasn’t disappointed. These were all wonderful books full of action and intrigue, magic and romance and Krista street wrote complex lives and characters for the entire series. I had to wait two whole months for this last in the series, but if you haven’t read any of these yet, lucky you they’re all written! I give the series a solid 4.5 for world building, creativity, romance without unnecessary sex scenes and the kind of security action you might see mixing hand weapons with magic. If you like fantasy, action and romance this is a great choice. ["

Elizabeth H.Fantastic Romantasy Series
"I loved this series!! This is romantasy as we know and love it. Enemies to lovers and the magic system was incredibly unique, which I loved. All four books in the series built up really well and the world building was easy to grasp (always a relief). Thoroughly enjoyed!! (I rarely give 5 stars… this was 4.5) ["

Read-Love-Review BlogGreat Ending
"This is the last book in this series; they must read it in order. This book begins with Prince Norivun. This book is very political as they strive to take down the King and Norivun's father. Their return home goes differently than planned, with old foes rising against them and assisting the King. If the craziness of the Solis continent wasn't enough, why not visit everywhere? They end up traveling all over the place. There are so many portals that I'm curious how they aren't a jumbled mess or stick to their stomachs. I love Ilara's display of supernatural powers. They are so cool. This book gets steamy as these fated mates can't keep their hands to themselves. The rebellion has begun, and these fighters are fighting for what's right and moral in the Solis realm. Even though this story is very political, Ilara and Norivun's supernatural talents are still awe-inspiring. This book does contain a few new adult steamy scenes. Amidst the strife and grief, this book's ending doesn't disappoint; it is very happy and joyous. I love watching Ilara become a true heroine, Prince Norivun shedding some of his morally grey behavior, and being the man she deserves. This fae fantasy romance is genuinely inspiring and romantic and has an incredible story. ["

"As always, lots of twists and turns in the storyline. A battle at the end and then a few more chapters to tie up any loose ends. There were so many interesting stories within stories. The characters continued to be fleshed out and other facets of their personalities exposed. Good read & highly recommended this series! ["
