Trick Returns in 3D!

"Trick: Book 1: Dark Seasons - Natalia Jaster Trick was a book I loved when I first discovered Natalia Jaster’s books and her amazing talent. The book was fantastic then and I fell in love with Poet, Briar and Nicu and the mesmerizing world they lived in (although the “born fools” policies made me cringe). Since then the author has advanced her writing style to where it is almost poetic, capturing the imagination and souls of her readers. The author is also so talented that she has made an art of weaving the heavy spice and seggie sensual teasing burning scenes so that they become integral parts of the storylines. Poet is the “court Jester” for the Spring court which is known for its debauchery, little code as far as public displays of “affection” and more. Poet is more than a Jester he is a talented acrobat, his amazing ability to weave tantalizing tales and woo the court haw become well known throughout the kingdom, and the King and Queen look to him for his advice as well. He is not only the “darling” of the Spring court but also famous for his sexual conquests both male and female. When he leaves his signature red ribbon on the bed of a visiting princess it is a sign that she is his next victim. The visiting princess, Briar, is of the autumn court. This court is much more reserved, serious, less prone to “wicked dalliances” and dress much more conservatively. The princess is captured by this Jester is as determined as she is t shut him out she just delves deeper into his world. Briar is serious, not afraid to voice her opinion or behave as the “stuck up” conservative princess she is. Poet can’t help but view Briar as a challenge until he is forced to look deeper. The slow burn is almost as hot as the full physical coming together. As they both discover there is so much more to each of them they develop a heart melting love that is unfortunately forbidden. Be prepared to have your heart tugged in so many directions and to swoon out loud! This revised version is like a 3D version of the original Trick, don’t miss this awesome hypnotizing fantastical well written book! ["

Trick

"This was a super good read! BOTH FMC and MMC are complex, where neither is only what they seem at first. Neither are fully known by the people in their lives. I liked that the MMC isn’t your traditional character. He is an interesting twist on your typical bookish “broody / traditionally masculine” man, while still giving broody and masculine. He wears nailpolish, he uses eyeliner, he is bisexual. Still hot, just done in a really interesting and unique way. I recommend this book if you’re looking for something a little different from the MMC, along with an emotional and engaging story. ["
