Great Ending to the series

"I went into War of Fire and Fury with pretty tempered expectations. The first four books in the series were solid, perfectly fine 3 star reads, but nothing that hinted at what this final installment had in store. I’m honestly shocked at how hard this one hit. It picks up right where book four leaves off and immediately hits the ground running. Its action packed, emotionally intense, and hard to put down. What surprised me most is how full this book feels. In earlier installments, I always sensed something missing: depth, nuance, emotional weight, something. But having stuck through the entire series (because it was a good vibes read and decent plot), that buildup finally paid off. The previous books laid the groundwork so that, in this one, I felt completely connected to the characters. It was like everything suddenly clicked into place. And can we talk about Orion and Isera? I adore them even more than the main couple. Their banter, the tension, the chemistry, it was all perfection. Getting more page time with them was one of the absolute highlights of the book for me. The main FMC also shines here. Her growth felt earned and believable, especially in how the story handles grief, depression, and even addiction. The side characters also won me over; I loved watching former bullies and enemies transform into a found family with real softness and loyalty buried under all those rough edges. The whole reading experience felt like: “This is good. This is GOOD. Omg, THIS IS GOOD.” And when I wasn’t reading? All I could think about was how much I wanted to be. My one small critique: it runs a bit long. The emotional heaviness can be draining, and some of the inner monologue gets repetitive, but honestly, that’s also kind of true to life, so it didn’t take away much for me. Overall, I’m so glad I stuck with the series, because this final book made everything worth it. ["

"It has come to an end! Selena and Draven's journey has ended. It was a good book. Not the greatest, but the best ending. For the entire series I give 4.75⭐️ 2.5🌶 For this book is 4.5⭐️ and 2 almost 3 🌶 (for the final chapter) What liked the most was the relationship and the dynamic between the group. And the friendship that grew with every hardship they've encountered. The struggles of them, especially Alistair and Isera. I liked how the author wrote them trough Selena's eyes. I liked how she wrote Selena's struggle and emotional turmoil, but even now and then was beginning to annoy me, it felt repetitive. She kept writing the same feelings in other words. Made me feel like she wrote the just to fill more words. And that feeling was trough all the books of the series. I loved the choice Orion made for her to tell Draven. She needed that so bad. And he knew that if he doesn't do that, they'll lose her. And when the time has come, Draven didn't disappoint. After what he did in the 4th book, oh he redeemed himself 10 times over. Also, the lost memory trope shouldn't even take place. It was pointless and I think Marion took notes from our reviews 😂😂 And the entire plan in the final battle a bit pointless also, people died for nothing. Isera and Orion - yesss, I knew it from the beginning and I will love some stories about them. I loved their interaction and their banter. I'm curious what a spicy scene will look like because Orion? Whew, hot 🔥 Lyra and Alistair dynamic was a bit forced for me, I didn't feel the chemistry between them, I don't know why. Selena finally getting some closure after 2 entire books of struggling, Orion should've done that from the beginning. Marion pulled of a "my house, my chair, my woman" scene and I didn't like it 😂😂😂 No, the spicy throne scene wasn't needed, only Daddy Xanden can pull that off 😂😂 even if Draven is hot as well, she could've find other place. So, the final verdict is that is a nice series not the best writing style, my favorite book from this series is Book 2. Their tension was hot, and in that book I liked Selena the most. Book 3 seemed like a filler, but was good, book 4 was annoying. This ended well the entire series. And also, is the best fantasy read since I've finished Throne of Glass series, all the books after were disappointments, but this help me to get trough the slump. 😂😂 ["

If I had to hear her justify not trusting Draven or regret not knowing about her parents one more time, I was going to put it down and not bother picking it back up.
