Between the Fae, the humans, the resistance, and freaking dragons, there’s not a single moment to breathe. With tensions sky high, everything feels so fragile..like one wrong move and everything could shatter. The way loyalties are tested and lines are blurred had me stressed in TF out lol. "Draven is definitely a top five book boyfriend and I’ve read about 500 books in the last couple years so that is quite the statement. Once you’ve read this book you’ll find out why I think that. The character development for both Selena and Draven is absolutely chef’s kiss as they navigate their role in this crazy thing called the Ice Dynasty. There are so many moving parts and little subplots that you’ll be sitting in the edge of your seat the whole time. I was nervous multiple times because I didn’t know what to expect and I was also so hopeful that my hunch was right about other things. What I was right about was so much deeper and complex that I had imagined so I was still super surprised. The tension is excellent- the enemies to lovers is still there- forced proximity, secret identity, banter for DAYS, epic battles, revenge and redemption, betrayals- this book has it all! I loved learning more about the black dragon clan and Alastair and Imrani are still very much participants in this story. The cliffhanger at the end was HUGE so I will be starting book three ASAP! ["

"Book 2 of the Flame and Thorns series was filled with many surprises and much world building. Overall, if there was any doubt this wasn't an enemies-to-lovers story, this book cements that it is. Draven and Selena are on completely opposite sides in this society and constantly working against eachother at every turn. Although, they find common ground with eachother. I love how Selena can be her true self around Draven and how he accepts her and even encourages her wrath at times. I had an inkling on that twist towards the end but it was so satisfying to read nonetheless. I can't wait to see where book three goes! 🖤 ["
