About this book

The night's chaos left us breathless. Now the real nightmare begins. A second dragon has awoken—her heart tainted and her power commandeered by two ruthless highbloods whose cruelty knows no bounds. My dearest friend teetered on the brink of death. A dragon saved her, but now she's tied to him in a way I can scarcely understand. What will this new bond do to the woman I've come to love as a sister? And then there's Blake. Once my relentless tormentor—he betrayed me again, nearly condemning Nyxaris to a cursed, stone-cold fate. Now, something has shifted in him. His gray eyes hide a secret he's desperate to keep. I saved Blake's life, despite everything. Yet now my every heartbeat questions where we go from here. With Bloodwing Academy in turmoil and a new headmaster no one saw coming, only one thing is certain: This is going to be one hell of a year. At Bloodwing Academy, power comes with blood, and betrayal is as common as ambition. This dark fantasy series tackles mature themes. Listeners are advised to consult the trigger warnings before embarking on this intense, morally gray/black journey through the realm of Sangratha!

Amazing 😍

"The Wings That Bind completely swept me away. I’m still fairly new to writing book reviews, but this story made it easy because I genuinely loved every moment of it. Briar Boleyn creates a world that feels magical, dangerous, and full of emotion, and I found myself pulled in from the very first chapter. Seraphina was the character who grabbed my heart right away. She’s strong and determined, but also vulnerable in a way that feels real. Watching her fight for herself and the people she cares about made me root for her the whole way through. And then there’s Kael — the brooding, morally gray warrior whose presence brings so much tension and intensity to the story. The chemistry between Seraphina and Kael is incredible. Their banter, their conflict, and the slow build of trust between them kept me turning pages long after I planned to stop. I also enjoyed the supporting characters, especially Liora and Riven, who add depth and emotion to the world. Every character feels like they matter, and that made the story even more engaging. The worldbuilding is rich but easy to follow. The winged lore, the magic, and the political tension all blend together in a way that feels natural and exciting. By the time I reached the end, I was fully invested and already wishing for the next book. Overall, The Wings That Bind is a captivating and emotional romantasy that left a real impact on me. As a newer reviewer, I can honestly say this book reminded me why I love reading. I can’t wait to continue Seraphina and Kael’s journey. ["

Good but a bit long

"I thought this was good but the story is starting to go too long as is with series longer than three books. I will continue the series but did find myself skimming parts especially Florence and Regan. ["
