Great prequel novella

"Decided to read this prequel novella before jumping into Kissed by the Gods, and boy am I glad I did. Unwritten by the Gods is a fantastic little story. Action packed and full of heartache and strife, there’s a good little amount of spice in this as well. There isn’t a whole lot of world building, but I’m assuming we’ll get that in book one. I don’t know if Aelric or Maera will make an appearance in Kissed by the Gods, but I sure hope so. Considering this novella was so short, their relationship was so wonderfully written, I felt like it was a full length novel. This was a great intro into Caty Rogan’s writing and I’m excited to start on Kissed by the Gods next! ["
