Nisha J. Tuli
“I am not his conquest. I am not his to claim. I am my own castle.” Freed from the golden clutches of the Sun King, Lor now finds herself in the hands of Nadir, the Aurora Prince. Convinced she’s hiding something, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to make her talk. But Lor knows the value of secrets—she’s been keeping them her entire life—and she’s not letting hers go without a fight. When Lor and Nadir team up to search for a lost item that holds the key to her past and her future, she isn’t sure if she can trust him. All she knows is she won’t fall for his promises and make the same mistakes again. Lor also hasn’t forgotten her vow to destroy the Aurora King. As Atlas hunts her across Ouranos, Lor plots to bring down the Imperial Fae who took everything. But she soon realizes that the future of the continent is about so much more than just her shattered legacy. Rule of the Aurora King is the second book in the Artefacts of Ouranos series and combines romance, intrigue, action, and adventure. Linds S.Swoon-worthy follow up to the precious novel - ADDICTING!
"“He will not have my heart…” 🌹 TROPES & THEMES 🌹 ✔️ enemies to lovers ✔️ fated mates (maybe 🤞) ✔️ found family ✔️ forced proximity ✔️ fake dating ✔️ hate BJ ✔️ the best 🤌🏽 🌶️ tension 🤌🏽 ✔️ “who did this to you?” ✔️ daddy Nadir 🧎♀️ Remember how much harder ACOMAF slapped than ACOTAR? That’s how this book was to its first. HONEYYY. Nisha didn’t have to go as hard as she did on that steamy tension but she did, fam. She did it for us readers. 🥹 This book picks up pretty much after the fiasco that happened in book 1. Lor discovers Nadir, Aurora Prince and alphahole, has taken her in and is hiding her from not only the Sun King - but his dad too, the Aurora King. Lor comes clean about her heritage, kinda. But only after Nadir and his gang rescue her siblings who were stuck in the prison. I shall NOT say what the big reveal was, but it was hinted at throughout and I was hype when it was confirmed. So now Lor and Nadir must work together to try to and find a certain relic to take down a certain king… 👀 The steam was dialed up, and while we didn’t get to home base - I ain’t even mad. What we got was a five star chef’s rendition of THE PERFECT APPETIZER. The forced proximity and fake dating tropes were excellent ingredients added to this soup pot of romancy goodness and left me satisfied but also at the same time I’m over here ON MY KNEES beggin’ for the next book. 🤣🫠 THIS SERIES IS SO GOOD! It’s so fun, it’s adventurous, easy to follow and understand. It makes you laugh, swoon, rage, and I couldn’t put it down. Every romantacy reader NEEDS to read this series. ["

Heather Andronovichlots of world building!!
"Freed from the Sun King's control, Lor finds herself under the scrutiny of Nadir, the Aurora Prince, who suspects she’s hiding crucial secrets. Though forced into an uneasy alliance to recover a lost item tied to her mysterious past, Lor remains wary of trusting another royal fae. As the Sun King hunts her down and danger closes in, Lor must stay ahead of her enemies and confront the truth about her legacy. But vengeance alone won’t secure the future of Ouranos—Lor must rise beyond survival and reclaim her power on her own terms. I really liked the first book, but I think I loved this one even more—mostly because of Nadir. There wasn’t as much action this time around, but the world-building and lore totally made up for it and set things up perfectly for the next two books. I loved watching Lor grow into herself and become even more of the strong, fierce main character we all knew she could be, especially now that she’s not just focused on surviving. The banter and angst between her and Nadir? So good. They’re constantly clashing, but the tension is off the charts—it’s that perfect enemies-to-lovers vibe, and it was done really well. I also really enjoyed the multiple POVs, especially getting inside Nadir’s head (loved that), and Serce’s perspective added some great depth too. Overall, this one was a super fun read, and I’m so ready for the next book!
