Tempests & Tea Leaves (The Charmed Leaf Legacy Book 1)
Rachel Morgan
The Selection’s prince-must-choose-a-bride meets Bridgerton’s Regency sparkle with the enchanted letter exchange of Divine Rivals—all wrapped up in the whimsy of cozy fantasy. When shy Aurelise Rowanwood is swept into the glittering Bloom Season as one of the fae ladies from whom the charming and flirtatious Prince Ryden must choose a bride, she vows to stay on the sidelines and go unnoticed, dreaming instead of a safe, steady companion and a quiet life filled with her beloved music. But when Ryden discovers that Aurelise is the very same intriguing young woman he’s been secretly exchanging enchanted letters with for the past year, he invents a daring game to draw her out from behind her careful walls and win her heart. Caught between the comfort of her quiet dreams and the intensity of feelings she has spent her life avoiding, Aurelise is terrified of surrendering her heart—yet finds herself falling for both the mysterious writer of her letters and the unsuitable, infuriatingly flirtatious prince. For fans of Bridgerton’s dazzling debut Season, intensely romantic slowburn without spice, and a sprinkling of magical enchantment, this cozy romantasy will be your next obsession. ★★★★★ “BY FAR my favorite Charmed Leaf Legacy title so far.” – Goodreads reader ★★★★★ “10 out of 5 stars! "L and R were perfect in this third book in the series. This one is my favorite of the series, thus far. The author uses such elegant language, unique magic systems, and a nod to Regency romance in a fae world. Beautiful! Lise really resonated with me as an introverted, kindhearted character who grew to realize her strength and worth. R also grew once he became vulnerable and open with her. Also, Thimble and Spark were adorable secondary characters—but essential to the sweetness of the story. I loved the HEA—after all the stops and starts, confusion, and second guessing of the two main characters. It was SO satisfying. The only small complaint was that the epilogue was not included in this book. You need to click on the link at the end to receive it. I am eagerly awaiting the next one in the series❤️ ["

"Love & Letter Charms was a thoroughly enjoyable book. I will freely admit I didn't care for the 2nd book in the series, so much so that I didn't finish reading it, but this book's premise was too intriguing to pass up. And I'm so glad I didn't! Aurelise was so sweet, and her overwhelmed feelings aligned so closely with mine that she was very relatable and easy to root for. And who doesn't love a so-called flirty prince with a heart of gold? I loved that he fell in love with L's words long before he met her, and that he was able to show her there was nothing wrong with her shyness, but she was also stronger than she thought. Ahhh. Loved it! ["
