About this book

One king caged my body. Another has caged my mind. War has broken out between Annwyn and Orea, though that's not the only battle being waged. There's a fight inside me, and it's one I'm determined to win, no matter how much they try to strip me down and hollow me out. Yet, they've forgotten one thing: the ancient magic of the pair bond. One can never truly be lost when two souls are already bound. Because Slade and I? We are connected by more than just fated magic, and we will always find each other. In any life. The fae king is trying to destroy me. My heritage. My memory. What he hasn't realized is this: gold bends, but stone breaks. And a Goldfinch does not fall. It flies. The seductive and thrilling BookTok hit dark fantasy romance series comes to an end in this powerful finale.Intended for mature listeners. Newly recorded in duet-style narration by Lilly Drake and Anthony Palmini.

Great ending, loved the HEA

"It was a good ending to the series (this is the ending right?). I was happy with it. Compared to the last book? Uh yeah 1000% better. That book has like nothing going on, this one had a lot going on. I do have to say emotionally? Emotionally so torn up at some points. I also was getting so mad, I wanted to crawl into the story and deal with characters. You know because I could hold my own against a trained fae (sarcasm. Obviously. I would die. Instantly. *Poof* im gone). The ending made me happy, for a while I was like this is not going to be how it ends. Oh hell no (again living in the characters, being oblivious to reality, seeing how much is left in the book. Seriously. I give the “getting lost in a book” saying a whole new meaning FFS .), but thankfully it didn’t happen that way. Of course the spice was spicen. I love spice lol. Really this one was good, had the HEA, and made them work for it. This Fantasy Romance is book 6 in the Plated Prisoner Series. The Romance is a pre established relationship from previous books. The book is spicy, and the spice is descriptive. The book moves at a steady pace following Auren as the struggles to remember who she is, all while Slade pushes harder to get to Auren. Their enemies close in, while Orela has war raging across their lands. This book is steamy, emotional, and thrilling a great read for any romantasy lover. ["

Creative Journey

"Wow this series was a long in depth journey with amazing world building and character development. This creative story was well written. While I do feel the author was very long winded and maybe went a little overboard in describing some things it was very enjoyable. This is really the first romantasy I have read it was a journey that took you to new levels. This is the final book and we did finally get some answers and amazing action. I laughed, cried and at some points was mad at the turn of events. I do feel that some characters had more amazing development and that their ending should have been different, while a couple of the characters got off a little too easily. Slade and Auren are a powerhouse of a pair that if they wanted to they could rule everything. The story had amazing battles, twists and an ending I felt just didn't truly do it justice. I also feel that at least one character was left with no ending at all. Over all I did love the series and the characters all will hold a place in my heart. I was left just a little bit unsettled and maybe wanting just a little bit more for that ending. ["
