Dante, the Mage King of Avonbend, sits upon a throne balanced precariously between the human realm and the treacherous expanse of Fairyland. As a sworn protector, he has spent his life fearing the formidable Fairy Queen who rules from the shadows of the borderlands. However, when a mysterious, devastating blight threatens to consume his kingdom, Dante is forced to abandon his caution.
He approaches his ancient adversary, seeking aid in a desperate bid to save his people. The Queen, however, is not a simple monster of legend. She views Dante’s arrival with calculated intrigue, sensing that his desperation hides a deeper, more dangerous truth.
Instead of offering easy salvation, she lures the ambitious king into her domain, weaving a web of secrets and shifting allegiances that challenges everything Dante believes about his world and his own history. As their rivalry ignites into a volatile dance of power and attraction, they find themselves bound by oaths that neither can easily break. In the heart of her kingdom, the lines between enemy and ally blur, forcing a choice: which ruler will yield, or will they both be consumed by a destiny far more intertwined than they ever dared to imagine?

"The setting is medieval high fantasy, but the plot feels very relevant and timely as the main character tries to find a way to balance appeasing bigotry and guarding his people from it. The narrative feels very Shakespearean in the sense that the events are big, political, and dramatic, but the cast is easy to keep track of, with very distinctive characters. That said, it has a much more even balance of tragedy and humor. It reminds me of the fantasy of the 1960s to 1990s I grew up borrowing from my father's library and acquiring for my own. A great adventure with wonderful characters. I cannot recommend this novel enough. ["

Bart BurrowA Must Read!!
"This book has a chokehold on me. I just finished yesterday and I’m desperately searching the author’s social media for signs that there will be a sequel. The writing is beautifully detailed; I could vividly picture every scene. I also very much enjoyed how this romance didn’t shy away from other aspects of the plot- the political drama kept me on my toes, and I was pleasantly surprised at how the book didn’t shy away from the darker aspects of politics and warfare. The stakes felt real, and high - I genuinely worried about the survival of my favorites, which made the book that much more gripping. It was so refreshing to see the enemies to lovers turned on its head in such a way. I got to enjoy all the banter that comes with flirting with your enemy but with unparalleled character growth. I highly recommend this book! The more people that read the greater chances of getting my beloved sequel! ["

Miss. lovleyI loved it 🥰
"I was interested from the moment when I read the synopsis. This books was great! The slow building of the relationship between the male and female lead, the complex relationships between every character, how vividly you imagine the characters and world because of the writing, but I especially loved the world building. Dante and Taniya are my new favorite couple. I highly recommend this read. ["

Jesscera BarronMillerGreat start, need more!
"I started watching the YouTube channel about a week ago and when I realized that there was an actual book I decided to take the plunge and buy it. I devoured it in a night and I still hunger for more. I really hope there are many more volumes because I need more of Dante and Taniya's story as well as all of their companions. I honestly hope that the series ends with the two of them having a joint kingdom and with Dante chasing fluttering half fairy toddlers while Taniya lounges on the throne giggling at the spectacle. I give it five stars even though I feel like the ending was a little rushed and that the villain did not get a satisfactory end (after all the crap they pulled, they should of suffered more. Their death was far too quick.) ["
