About this book

Wendy Darling is no longer the girl who dreamt of Neverland; she is a survivor hardened by the treacherous reality of Everland. Years after being abandoned by those she once trusted, Wendy has carved out a solitary, perilous existence, keeping her past buried deep. Her fragile equilibrium shatters when the two figures from her haunted history—the enigmatic Captain Hook and the lethal Crocodile, Roc—reappear in her life.

They return seeking a woman long considered dead, unaware that their pursuit threatens to destroy the very person they are hunting. While Wendy’s primary instinct is to enact the vengeance she has promised herself for years, the reality of their reunion is far more complicated. As enemies close in on all sides, the lines between predator and prey blur, forcing Wendy into an impossible alliance with the men who betrayed her.

Caught in a volatile MMF dynamic, she must navigate a landscape of dark magic and shifting loyalties where the greatest danger isn’t the island itself, but the undeniable, consuming pull between them. With her life and her heart hanging in the balance, Wendy must decide if the enemies of her past are worth the risk of her future.

❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥DEVOURED this book! 🤭😂😋

"❤️‍🔥DEVOURER OF MEN❤️‍🔥 By Nikki St. Crowe ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Star Review 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ 4/5 Spice Level Devourer of Men was such a fun book!!! It is Book 1 of 2 (so far) in the Devourer series. It was a quick read, but it packs a serious punch! Audiobook is available and highly recommended!! Narrators are Shane East (Hook) ❤️‍🔥 Stella Hunter ❤️‍🔥 & Robert Hatchet (Roc) ❤️‍🔥. So, this spinoff series is a continuation of the Vicious Lost Boys world. The world is based in a Peter Pan retelling. I wish I had gone back and read Vicious Lost Boys again, or even just the last part of the last book because I did struggle to remember how they ended. I finished that series many months and books ago so it’s foggy. Devourer of Men picks up after the end of Vicious Lost Boys. The story is about Hook (AKA Captain James Hook), Roc (AKA The Crockodile), and Wendy Darling. Hook & Roc are mortal enemies. After all, Roc is the one who took Hook’s hand off because he had touched Wendy. SOOOOO, they BOTH want Wendy. The banter and sizzling chemistry between those two guys is so intense! The spicy scenes are so well written and pull you in… all the way in! 🤭 The guys come together in their search for Wendy. Once they find her, they won’t stop in getting her back…. Together. Wendy Darling is not in a good place. If I remember correctly, she is the mother of Winnie from Vicious Lost Boys. Peter Pan left her many years ago in Everland, pregnant with Hook’s child. She never made it back to her home. Unbeknownst to them, she was imprisoned in the Everland Court dungeons for a very long time. Smee helped her get her baby out of Everland. The last time she saw the guys, they were young wily boys. Now, she is Queen of Everland and married to dying King Hald. The Everland Court is a den of vipers, all ready to strike her down. What will she do now? Where will she go? If Hook & Roc never knew where she was, can she be mad at them for abandoning her? Or is it finally their time to be together? This story does end on a big cliffhanger. Excited to read Book 2! I may wait for audio version to come out, since the narrators are AMAZING!!! Happy reading! ❤️‍🔥 ["

A delightful retelling

"When I saw the cast for the audiobook of Devourer of Men, I knew this was the perfect time to pick up a book from Nikki. I’d seen reviews online for the previous series, and hen I read the blurb, I was deeply intrigued. DoM did not disappoint one bit and the audio could not have been better. In duet narration; Shane East, Stella Hunter, and Robert Hatchet were an audio treat! Shane blusters and commands as Captain Hook. Robert seduces with charm and sly machinations. Stella rules with subtlety and hides her secrets. When it all comes together, the ending will leave you stunned and hungry for more. Hook has avoided Roc for a long time, but when he finds Hook again, it’s not what the captain ever could have imagined. They are both hunting for Wendy and rumors lead them to the Court of Everland. Wendy, after everyone abandoned her, has lived for years never knowing who her true allies were. When Hook and Roc show up, it’s the worst possible time. Now, as their enemies reveal themselves, they race to save each other and the future just out of reach. This story did well as a standalone, but I do know some of what I missed in the previous series. It was enough that I want to go back and read it, but I was able to follow the story well and keep up with the characters. What I loved is that Nikki mixes in enough of the past to fill a new reader in, but not so much that someone familiar with Neverland would be bothered. She has built a new and intriguing world — one of intrigue, danger, and myth — starting with the Peter Pan story. But don’t think you know the story at all. This was a steamy adventure with familiar characters cast in a refreshing way that will leave you racing to the end of the story. But this is far from the end of the story, and clearly there is more to come. ["

Nice branching out of the characters from the previous series

"It was fun to get more from the world of Peter Pan, and I enjoyed getting to know these three characters a bit too. As with the other books, there is a lot of spice, but there is a lot of good plot too. Maybe not the deepest story out there, but a quick fun read nonetheless. ["

I'm all in on Croc, Hook, and Wendy

"What can I say. I am addicted to Nikki St. Crowe’s Vicious Lost Boys universe. I love all things about these characters and while I have a lot of questions for Winnie Darling (How many undies did you bring exactly, young lady?) I love her and her gang of delicious men. This book is not about them. This book is about way more interesting characters: The Crocodile, Captain James Hook, and Wendy Darling. I was sold. While reading this I will say, it helps if you’ve read the previous books to get some background on Croc and Hook explaining why they are off Neverland and looking for Wendy. But if you can suspend that curiosity a bit, it’s explained in this book, and you could possibly skip the other 4 books. I felt this book was the most cohesive and easy to follow. I enjoy a good brooding male character and The Crocodile does it well. The dynamic between the 3 main characters is good and intoxicating. The story flows well and moves quickly. You still have fairies and other fantastical beings in this book. There’s dark magic utilized and of course steamy Overall, it made me thirsty for much more of this storyline. I will say I like it more than the original Vicious Lost Boys story. I’ve read all 5 of the books (there’s a thirst trap mini novella (so now 6) that has some delish snacks in it I have to read) and listen to the 4 Lost Boys on Audible. The voice casting is amazing. The audio has been released for Devourer of Men and I cannot wait to hear it. Definitely recommend the audio and Triple definitely recommend this tasty morsel: Devourer of Men. ["
