DELUXE EDITION--a gorgeous paperback edition featuring vivid orange sprayed edges, a beautiful color illustration, and a never-before-seen bonus short story! Bookshops & Bonedust meets Our Flag Means Death in this cozy fantasy on the low seas, where lesbian pirates find out if enemies actually can become lovers! Kianthe and Reyna are on the hunt for dragon eggs to save their hometown―but it requires making a deal with Diarn Arlon, lord of the legendary Nacean River. Simply capture the river pirate Serina, who’s been plaguing Arlon's supply chains, and bring her in for justice. Easy peasy. Begrudgingly, the couple joins forces with Bobbie, one of Arlon’s constables determined to capture the pirate. Except Bobbie and Serina have a more complicated history than anyone realized, and it might jeopardize everything. While Kianthe and Reyna watch this relation-shipwreck from afar, it quickly becomes apparent that these disaster lesbians need all the help they can get. Luckily, matchmaking is Reyna’s favorite pastime. The dragon eggs may have to wait.
A. MckinneyCozy vibes in a world that is better than our own.
"I love that with each book we get new characters to get to know and love. The author puts us in a world where it feels like the script has been flipped and heterosexual or cisgender are the anomalies, rather than the norm. It took me a moment to adjust to that shift in perspective, and it was so lovely once I settled into it. The cozy fantasy vibe is only enhanced by the notion that if we're going to escape into a fantasy realm, we can escape to one that is a better world than the one we inhabit. Escaping to a world where everyone is free to be exactly who they are is freeing in a way that I didn't know my soul needed. The story in this second book is lovely and engaging. The action and tension is well placed and balanced. It maintains its cozy feel even with the danger and excitement. The characters are honest, human, and relatable. I continue to be impressed by the authors ability to pack so much into the pages without wasting space with extra fluff that ends up being skimmed over. Every paragraph is packed with story. I was able to take my time and just enjoy the story without feeling like I needed to skim to get back to the plot. Truly one of my new favorite series. ["

C.Peter AlbertsonA Great Story
"A Pirate’s Life for Tea is a delightful blend of cozy fantasy, adventure, and just the right amount of whimsy. Imagine a charming seaside town, a grumpy pirate, and a tea witch who would rather steep leaves than stir up trouble—and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a fun and heartwarming read. The world-building is cozy yet immersive, with just enough pirate mischief and magical charm to keep things engaging. The main characters are wonderfully endearing—especially the dynamic between the no-nonsense tea witch and the reluctant pirate. Their banter and slow-building camaraderie had me smiling more than once. The story moves at a steady pace, balancing moments of lighthearted fun with just enough intrigue to keep the pages turning. If you love magical tea shops, found family vibes, and a touch of swashbuckling fun, this book is definitely worth the read! Perfect for fans of cozy fantasy looking for something light and feel-good. ["
