Doli Butterbuckle (how freaking cute is that name?!) completely stole my heart. I just wanted to be her bestie. While there is a sweet romance in the story, I was here for Doli’s personal growth. She’s a people pleaser through and through, and her relationship with her parents? Oof. Boundaries are not her strong suit. Watching her finally speak up and stand her ground was so satisfying! "I am a sucker for a good library and I have always loved dragons so when I saw this book i leaped at the opportunity. I enjoyed the first book in this series but this one tugged at my heart even more. This book contains themes of toxic family, self worth, and a found family. Doli is a ray of sunshine to all she meets wanting them to be safe and happy. The question through this book though is Doli happy with who she is and is it okay to show her friends and family when she isn’t. Add in the surprise visit and the handsome gargoyle that she just can’t stop thinking about while chasing around her new charge. This is a great cozy read with a troupe of fun and exciting characters that just want the best for each other. Also after reading this book if anyone has a dragon egg they need hatching I am happy to assist. ["
