"Honestly I was not expecting to love this book as much as I did! I love a good paranormal romance and this one was so fun but I also really enjoyed all the magical elements and rules behind the characters and the events as well that I’m hooked and want to read every book in this series asap cause it’s the perfect run romance world that I can escape into. Eva is just a normal girl who discovers that she can see through the magical world and see all the different magical creatures and then at the same time meets an attractive demon that holds her attention immediately especially when they play music. Ash can’t feel much due to his curse so he’s very dry and funny and it’s my favorite type of humor in these types of books so I was addicted from the start. I also loved the interactions with his brothers and all their different personalities, backstories, and powers that I need all of their books immediately too! Either way, can’t wait to read the rest of this series! ["

"4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 My Funny Demon Valentine is such a fun, entertaining paranormal read. This is the first book in the Hell Bent series and it follows Evangeline (Eva), a musician, and the a demon prince Asmodeus (Ash) who has escaped Hell and is in hiding on Earth with his brothers. Ash is cursed to be bland, causing no woman to see him. He loved music and enjoyed listening to Eva play, so imagine his surprise when she saw him and spoke to him. I enjoyed seeing the romance between them blossom as the story progressed. The story was action-packed, suspenseful, scorching hott, and highly entertaining. The banter and antics between Ash and his brothers had me amused. The family secrets when revealed had me at the edge of my seat to see what would happen. There were some emotional scenes and an ending that sets us up for the next book in the series. I really enjoyed this novel and would definitely recommend it to paranormal romance lovers. 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧 The audiobook was narrated by Kirsten Leigh. She was fantastic, bringing the varying personalities to life. Her voice was clear and understandable and it was an absolute pleasure listening to her narrate this novel. ["

"Four demons walk into a bar (no, not a joke), freshly escaped from Hell… and poor Ash (aka Asmodeus) is still cursed. He’s colourblind, can’t taste or feel anything, partially invisible, and perceived by humans as about as attractive as a dining room table. Or toilet paper. Or cardboard. The metaphors alone had me laughing out loud. Then he meets Eva…. a violinist who can actually see him, and their first interaction is painfully awkward in the best way. He keeps calling her “human”, doesn’t own a phone, hasn’t heard music in 200 years, and blurts out the weirdest things imaginable. I was hooked almost immediately. This book is funny, light, and ridiculously charming. Ash is completely clueless about what’s normal for humans and constantly asks if things are “abnormal,” which never stops being hilarious. I adored the body positivity with Eva ~ confident, comfortable, feminine, and desired without qualification, and the way Ash looks at her like she looks at cake. The world building pulled me in fast, especially once things start getting weird with Eva’s dad, a grimoire and Ash mysteriously regaining his senses through music 🎵 Ash discovering emotions might be my favourite part. He doesn’t understand feelings beyond guilt, so watching him try (and fail) to explain attachment, affection, and love is awkwardly vulnerable and genuinely sweet. Add in his overprotective demon brothers, a cat who hates demons (except one), and found family chaos, and I was fully invested. The smut to plot ratio is perfect ~ it enhances the story instead of overtaking it. Funny, heartfelt, and utterly charming, I loved this book and I’m officially obsessed with this universe!! 😈❤️ ["
