About this book

Amos, a Fae prince groomed by a tyrannical father to value cruelty above all else, harbors a single, lethal ambition: to dismantle his father’s regime from within. His path shifts irrevocably when he discovers he has a hidden twin sister and realizes that Clover, a fierce warrior raised among dragons, is his fated mate. To keep them both safe, Amos orchestrates a desperate deception, sending Clover to the Human Kingdom under the guise of an escort mission.

For years, their connection deepens through secret letters, building an intimacy that transcends their forced separation. But when the time comes for their reunion, Amos executes a public betrayal to protect his long-game rebellion, shattering Clover’s trust and driving her away. Years later, the boy who broke her heart has vanished, replaced by a ruthless, blood-stained king obsessed with reclaiming what he lost.

As Amos’s web of lies unravels and his kingdom teeters on the brink of collapse, he must confront the devastating cost of his choices. In a world where mercy is a death sentence, Clover and Amos are forced into a volatile dance of vengeance, desire, and the dark reality that love may be the most dangerous weapon of all.

The happy ending I didnt know I needed

"I have not sat down a really written a review this long. But, Brutally Yours shattered my book slump and left me completely speechless. While the romance between Amos and Clover was intense and beautifully written, it was the bond between Amos and Sasha.....his dragon, his best friend, that truly broke me. This story carries a kind of love rooted in loyalty, sacrifice, and connection that words honestly struggle to capture. What makes this book unforgettable to me is that it doesn’t just give you one happy ending; it gives you two. There’s the love story between Amos and Clover, the life they build, the family they create. But then there’s the ending I didn’t even realize I needed. The reunion between Amos and Sasha. A love built on friendship, loyalty, and sacrifice that somehow found its way back. That kind of ending, the one you didn’t know your heart was waiting for—is the one that broke me the most. With moments of dark depth, unexpected humor, and an ending that had me sobbing, this book is beyond a rating. It’s a 10 out of 5.....unforgettable, emotional, and something I will carry with me for a long time. Thank you it was well worth the wait. 😊 ["

Spoilers ahead

"Overall I love the series and this author. I thoroughly enjoyed this book with only a few exceptions. Ahem* spoilers now. I will never forgive you for Marjorie and hope that one of your eyebrows is accidentally waxed off. Sasha is the only reason I hope it grows back. I love the banter and level of unhinged both of our main characters are so once again great job there. The only things that fell flat for me were Paul and Jennifer. I'm not sure if its genius or lazy that Paul had no voice because honestly I think we're all a bit tired of evil men getting a platform these days. Jennifer I feel could have had a bit more fleshing out as a secondary villain because let's face it a "friend's" betrayal hits deeper. Once again a great series overall and will continue to read anything she writes because her writing is delightfully funny and always interesting. ["

Missing some of the vibes from the previous books

"It was good, but not as great as expected based on the rest of the series. It felt a bit off. There were also a lot of issues with the initial file (no chapters). ["
