A Secret in the Garden (Deluxe Edition) (Dark Manor Chronicles, 1)
Jeneane O'Riley
From breakout TikTok sensation Jeneane O'Riley comes the highly anticipated third book in the Infatuated Fae series, full of forbidden romance, twisty betrayals, and fairy tale magic. "Maybe I want to be everything to you… your hero and your villain." Trapped in the In-Between, Caly, Mendax, and Aurelius are fighting for their lives―they just don't know whose. Caly's bond to Mendax from their bonding ceremony and her mortality being tied to Aurelius's from when he saved her life mean the three of them have tangled their life forces together. And now that they know maintaining both connections is against the natural order of things, one of them must be sacrificed for the other two. Caly can't let another one of her loved ones die, but she also needs to answer the summons so she can finally meet her father. Then, perhaps, she can be sent to the Elysian Fields to be with her mother and sister. But her father has information that could change everything―and even if she's ready to sacrifice herself, she'll have to get through the Seelie Prince and the Unseelie Prince to do so, while also keeping them from killing each other.
erins_bookhavenI’m utterly devastated and delighted.
"oh man! where do you even start with a roller coaster like this one!? Book 3 is everything I expected and so much more. Our trio is off on an adventure that the fates have marked the end of the road for one of them. The monsters and trials they meet along the way are as unhinged and horrifyingly glorious as we’ve come to expect from O’Riley. I am salivating for book 4 already, ready for torture, terror, and twists far to twisted to expect. A MUST read series for the dark fantasy romance simps, like me! ["

LeddyAmazing!
"To think, I almost didn’t read this one because of how utterly uncomfortable and unsettled THAT scene in the second book left me. So glad my eternally curious mind pushed me right into this one. I consumed the book in a day- could not put it down. It had a little of everything - the banter, the plot twists, the pacing, the anticipation - impossible to look away. The series will unsettle you. Mendax is a tough character to love - the shadows are shadowing hard. It’s difficult to root for him, but you do, even if you feel like you need a shower just for thinking it. You can’t argue that he and Carly are a match made in… well, somewhere. Those 2 are really messed up. Eli kept her balanced, and I can’t wait to see what the next book holds. Till then, I’ll re-read this one 100 times, and work on my criminal cork and yarn board. If that sounds like a good time to you - come on in! ["
