"This series isn't talked about a lot in the US. The anime isn't dubbed and the books are still being translated. Read it. You won't regret it. The novels are funny, fresh, and fly right by. The characters talk a lot, but that makes the novels move quickly, and this develops the characters at incredible speed. They're super light and the cover art is magnificent. I have never bought more beautiful paperback books. If only as a piece of visual art, buy this box set, but the books themselves are amazing. I'm currently at the end of Season 2 and am procrastinating Season 3 so that I can fully appreciate. ++Monogatari. Very underrated. ["

"One of the most unique stories ever told. Through different points of view, in a world full of aberrations that have double meanings in context, this story is subtle, yet in your face. The packaging is great, the art on both the covers and box made by VOFAN are really good too. Shockingly the official translations manage to pick up on the subtle wordplays and kanji puns Nisio Isin is so known for. Each book takes 10~hrs to read on average, so you easily have 60 hours of reading time. If you see this review then you've perhaps seen or read season one, so this one is a no-brainer. Words aren't enough to explain how good a story this one is, and you should experience it too. ["
