About this book

Eloise Snowdrop Willow is a woman in transition, trading the humid, hollow life she built in Florida for the atmospheric pull of Salem. Seeking to outrun the weight of long-buried grief, she finds an unexpected sanctuary at The Lost Souls House, where enchanted gardens thrive and the warmth of a newfound coven offers a path toward healing. Her talent for crafting the perfect espresso earns her a place at The Black Cat Coffee, but her fresh start is immediately complicated by a surge of dark, inexplicable hexes plaguing the town.

Caught in the crosshairs is Detective Taylor White, a man bound by a cruel curse that renders him incapable of falling in love. Despite his desperate attempts to maintain professional distance, Taylor finds his resolve crumbling whenever he is near Eloise. As suspicion falls upon the coven, the two must navigate a growing, undeniable tension while working to uncover the malicious force threatening their home.

In a town where magic is as common as the morning mist, Eloise must decide if a man forbidden from loving is worth the risk of a broken heart, all while fighting to protect the fragile family she has finally begun to claim.

Love the drama

"Love the fact that they brought back the one responsible for the hexes and dealt with her. Still need some closure on Ursula's ex and what happened after she left. ["

Another perfect book

"I adore how LeAnna Ehrsam writes about friendship and highlights the absolute feelings of love and acceptance that comes with finding a group of women who embrace and support you. Returning to A Lost Souls series with Curses Dance with Bourbon felt like slipping into my favorite sweater. Eloise Snowdrop Willow, the FMC, is an absolute gem and is the perfect addition to the Lost Souls dinner club/coven. She has this frankness about her that is refreshing and who doesn't love a women who understands the importance of a good cup of coffee. And she gets her own spirit animals, a coopers hawk and a very pregnant raccoon. I loved how this book has multiple plot lines that intersect throughout the book. There is the possible romance between Eloise and Taylor, with the twist of Taylor's curse, the mystery of who is trying to frame the coven, and the suspense of if the dark figure from Eloise's past will come back to haunt her. Plus, I loved the elements of comedy that were woven throughout Eloise's plot line, from her awkward accidental date with Detective Taylor to her embarrassing heat flash public strip, it kept readers smiling. This book was an absolute delight and I loved seeing the entire coven, Ursula, Tilly, Jen, Kelsea, and Crystal, along with Jessica, Bess, and Jenson, return. I cannot wait for book three. ["

Perfect sequel in a fabulous series!

""It was far too easy to grow up and leave behind laughter and wonder, forgetting how deeply important they are for a full life, for joy." "Anger is such an interesting emotion because rarely is anger the root emotion that we have to temper. Usually, there is something crouching in the depths of us needing attention; pain or fear." "The magic here listened to them as they laughed, as they held hands, as they joined in the age-old tradition that created more magic than they realized: community among women." I loved this second instalment of the Lost Souls series! LeAnna puts me in mind of a modern, "witchy" L.M. Montgomery. Her writing is atmospheric and descriptive with lots of emotion, imagery and relationships. Featuring women in their 30s, found family and deep friendships, there is magic and magical realism, but the true magic that takes place is in the power of female friendship. I loved the addition of Eloise, discovering her story and path to healing, her love interest and the relationships she builds. Her chemistry and banter with detective Taylor White was perfection, their relationship one of my favorite parts! The mystery and magic this time around were also intriguing and I loved seeing it unfold, the unexpected enemies and allies. And that ending!! I was already excited by a new, intriguing character and certain relational dynamics. Add in that unexpected twist and the next book cannot release soon enough! If you love atmospheric, witchy reads, with older women, strong friendships, major romantic chemistry, found family, quirky characters, magical realism and some mystery, then don't miss this series!
