The Vampire Lestat: The Vampire Chronicles, Book 2
Anne Rice
For the first time, the complete Mayfair Chronicles from #1 New York Times bestselling author Anne Rice are collected together in a stylish three-book set—the inspiration for the hit television series. In this mesmerizing series, Anne Rice demonstrates her gift for spellbinding storytelling and the creation of legend: The Witching Hour:A hypnotic tale of witchcraft and the occult that introduces a great dynasty of witches—a family that over the ages is itself haunted by a powerful, dangerous, and seductive being. Lasher:The beautiful Rowan Mayfair, queen of the coven, must flee from the darkly brutal yet irresistible demon known as Lasher. Taltos: When Ashlar learns that another Taltos has been seen, he is suddenly propelled into the haunting world of the Mayfair family, the New Orleans dynasty of witches forever besieged by ghosts, spirits, and their own dizzying powers.

"I really should have known as Kindle has done this to my several times before. I've read many of Anne Rices novels in the past and really enjoy her writing and twists on well used characters. I'm more than half way through this series and while much of it entails soft porn and incest the span of the story is huge and interesting. Do yourself a favor and get the individual books instead of this collection. It's the Kindle file itself is what I have an issue with. The percentage seems to be tracking correctly but the page numbering is not working correctly. The seem to have added nearly a 100 pages to the first book with their reorganizing and at the end of the first book on page 1039 the page numbers lock up on page 1039 for the rest of the collection which should be another 1100 plus pages. I like to know where I'm at in a book and it helps with the flow of a book. Hope this helps ["
