About this book

She’s always dreamed of a soft life. They’re determined to provide it for her. Lucy Andersson-Spring’s twenty-ninth birthday comes with a side helping of a quarter-life crisis. She loves her community, her sewing shop, and her secret social media account featuring Starlight Grove’s cat mayor, but maybe she needs to be more ambitious, more self-sufficient. At least, that’s what the alphas she dated last year kept saying . . . before they cheated on her. Lucy is determined this year will be a fresh start, but her quest to leave her romantic dreams behind keeps being thwarted. First, a disastrous camping trip leaves her stranded with Wilder, the reserved fire chief. Then, a grumpy businessman named King bursts into her shop with a desperate proposal. And then there’s Leo, the cute florist who brings her bouquets, but never the dinner invitation she hopes for. Like Lucy, these guys are facing crossroads in their lives, but when their hesitancy in wooing the stunning omega leaves her feeling rejected all over again, they realize they can’t live without her. Determined to win her over, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, complete with a meddlesome cat, mischievous bunny, and bizarrely specific horoscopes, to become a pack worthy of her. A Pack for Spring is as poignant as it is playful, with themes of found family, self-acceptance, and scorching hot spice, of course! It is a standalone MMFM why choose small town romance. It is part of the Cozyverse shared universe, bringing you cozy omegaverse full of heart, heat, and humor.

During that time, I’ve reread and listened to the audio of the first two books countless times (no, seriously, I stopped keeping track because it was embarrassing). But Starlight Grove was my safe space and the world is on fire, so you can’t blame me. This is all to say, I was worried I had built up my expectations too high for this book and that I would be quietly disappointed. I’ve never been happier to be proven wrong, because somehow Emilia Emerson has done it again (and honestly, I should have never doubted her in the first place) and A Pack for Spring is a romantic masterpiece of a story. Lucy is relatable from page 1 ("I fanned my hands aggressively in front of my face to dry the tears welling up in my eyes. My jaw clenched. This was ridiculous. I was about to turn twenty- nine, not ninety- nine. My life was not over.”) and her story just gets better from there. I fell in love with her so easily, I was 50% of the way through before realizing it was 2 o’clock in the morning and I had to be up for work in 6 hours. You best believe I packed my Kobo and brought it with me! Except for one MMC that Felix hinted at during the end of A Pack for Winter, I had no idea what to expect for the others, and goodness, I’m fanning myself just remembering the heat between them. Each MMC was so uniquely themselves, it was easy to picture them and keep track of them throughout the story. I was immediately invested in their personal growth, along with their growth as a pack. Don’t even get me started on the rest of the town! The side characters are always a joy to hear from, the festivals continue to amaze, and Felix will forever reign supreme. The friendship between Olive, Ivy, Summer, and Lucy continued to be the heart of the story, adding just enough to feel their presence without overshadowing Lucy’s journey. The town, the friendships, the love? It doesn’t get better than this. Some of My Favorite SFW Quotes -"I’ll hold your hand as you jump. Keep you safe.” -I’d gotten used to Felix randomly showing up, taste-testing new shipments of roses, and staring judgmentally at any man who came in and didn’t choose the largest size bouquet to purchase. -“Eh." Marisol shrugged. "Our taxes just fund billionaires and genocide. Good for him for taking a stand for social justice.” -I want to hear him call me sweetheart for the rest of my life. -I wanted that again, for her voice to form the soundtrack of my life. -Nothing in my life could compare to the satisfaction I felt when I made Lucy happy. Funny, heartfelt, spicy, and full of personality

"This was easily my favorite book in the series so far—which honestly surprised me, because Lucy hadn’t been my favorite in the earlier installments. But wow, she really came into her own here. She felt so much more layered and fully realized, while still being her chaotic, whimsical self. I ended up loving how she finds a way to inject a little magic into everything around her. One thing Emilia Emerson absolutely nails is comedic timing. I genuinely laughed out loud multiple times—this whole book just has such a fun, playful energy without sacrificing emotional depth. I’m also a huge fan of multi-POV romances, and this format works especially well in a why-choose story. Getting inside everyone’s head adds so much richness, and I love that the relationships between the men are just as important as their relationship with Lucy. King and Leo? Top-tier chemistry. Watching Leo navigate his insecurities around his disability while King reevaluates his priorities was so well done. And Wilder was a total wildcard, but his connection with Lucy was explosive, and I loved how seamlessly King and Leo brought him into the fold. All three men felt complex and distinct, each grappling with their own struggles—Leo with his rheumatoid arthritis and feelings of inadequacy, Wilder with his health fears and self-imposed isolation, and King with his emotionally barren upbringing. Watching them come together and build something supportive, messy, and deeply loving as a pack was incredibly satisfying. As always, the omega friendships were a highlight. The absolute chaos of the group turning on the guys after craft night (and hijacking the local horoscopes to force them to grovel) was hilarious. And Felix? Still delightfully unhinged, now with Blossom the bunny in tow. The animal side characters in this series are truly doing the most, and I love it. Also… let’s just say the spice level got a significant upgrade in this installment. I adore a cozy small-town romance with quirky characters, but yeah—this one is definitely not for the faint of heart. (My mom would be scandalized, lol.) Overall, A Pack for Spring is funny, heartfelt, spicy, and full of personality. This series just keeps getting better, and I’m fully invested at this point. Thank you to Emilia Emerson, G.P. Putnam’s Sons, and NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. ["
